I was bored so I decided to use it and try to connect as my additional home network or wireless access point. Although our home is not that big and I know one router can accomodate the entire home but I am eagerly to proceed to do it. </div><p></p><div style="text-align: justify;">I made 3 wired network ports. One at the kitchen, lounge room and receiving area. My old router is place at the lounge room. I just plugged and played straightaway without any issue. It is the the job of the DHCP to fine an IP address to connect automatically for the rest of the devices.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">But when I tried to connect my laptop on LAN on each of the LAN port that I made, it won't work. I tried to PING and IFCONFIG, the host is unreachable. I have tried to disconnect the second router, ping my LAN port where my laptop is connected then it magically connected. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So I just realised that the second router will have a conflict with the LAN devices if connected because the DHCP will automatically find the available IP address. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Now, I will try to connect and set my second router with a static IP address including the 3 LAN ports that I made. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">To be continued...</div>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-77611639107687060932023-07-12T02:37:00.006+10:002023-07-12T02:59:49.693+10:00You Will Never Regret This. Those three laptops are running with three different operating systems. My first purchased was my <a href="https://youtu.be/frFiFKIH5es">Acer Timeline X</a> which is 10 years old now. The installed OS is Windows 7 Home. I used this for editing photos especially photoshop. Although a bit outdated but running in a good condition. My second is the <a href="https://youtu.be/Zsw3gd4TfxY">Sony Vaio 13"</a> laptop. It is not actually mine but since no one is using it, I considered it as officially mine. The operating system before was Windows 7 Home but I had changed in to Kali Linux for educational and learning purposes. Changing the system from Windows 7 to Kali Linux is not that complicated if you have gathered all the information before you proceed to reinstall it otherwise your laptop will be compromised. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">My 3rd is my <a href="https://youtu.be/Pev4olALB9E">Apple Macbook Pro</a> 13" 2012 laptop which is having a Catalina OS. This is a 9 years old laptop but it works like a beast. A very powerful machine yet it has only a 128GB SSD HD and 8 GB 1600 DDR3 memory. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">To erase and factory reset please follow some steps. Firstly, you must backup all your important files and save it to the other external drive. Next, sign out all your iTunes, iCloud and iMessage then shutdown your machine. After shutting down press altogether the following keys from your keyboard which are <b>Option Command</b> and <b>R</b> then hit the <b>power button</b>. Do not release and keep your fingers on hold in the keyboard until you will see the the spinning circle (earth). From there you will be given options from MacOS Utilities.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Choose and click Disk Utility and start erasing Macintosh HD. After erasing the HD click the option Reinstall MacOS then follow and read the steps. Done. You have now a fresh and newly installed OS. </span></div>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-28005263143106964222021-06-14T20:33:00.002+10:002021-06-14T20:40:29.287+10:00How To Install BRAVE BROWSER On Kali Linux<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vvUc7hrPGCA" width="320" youtube-src-id="vvUc7hrPGCA"></iframe></div><p><br /></p><p></p><h3 id="debian-9-ubuntu-1604-and-mint-18" style="border-color: rgb(206, 208, 219); border-style: solid; border-width: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #3b3e4f; font-family: poppins__subset, Helvetica, system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "segoe ui", Roboto, "helvetica neue", Arial, "noto sans", sans-serif, "apple color emoji", "segoe ui emoji", "segoe ui symbol", "noto color emoji"; font-size: 1.5rem; font-weight: 400; line-height: 1.25; margin: 0px; padding: 0.75em 0px; scroll-margin-top: var(--headerHeight);">This browser installation is not hard. I have heard most of the Linux lovers will never turn back to Windows. Not me, I would say and stay closer to windows to get fresh air. Haha Seriously, Linux is fun if you continuously learn their things on how it works. It's amazing. Just now, I installed TOR browser, it is like magic. You will become anonymous to everyone because your IP address will be different from the real ones. Also, Anonsurf is great stuff as well. You can be anonymous too. It is a great tool for sneaking but not good for UNethical hacking. Before I install Kali I read some blog on how to install it. They've said that there are some issue that you will encounter during the installation. Yes, I have encountered issues but they are manageable. With my patience and eagerness to learn, issues won't be a problem. </span></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">The steps to install Kali, first you must have a thumb drive about 8 Gb in capacity. Then download <a href="https://rufus.ie/" target="_blank">Rufus</a> and <a href="https://www.kali.org/downloads/" target="_blank">Kali linux</a>. Save it in to your machine. Unzipped Kali image file then run the executable file of your Rufus. Make sure to set your BIOS and enable the external device on your BIOS for your thumb drive to detect during boot up. Set to primary the external drive on your BIOS then click F10 to save. Reboot the system then choose Kali Linux to install. Just follow and read the instruction from the display. You will not lose unless you are reading it carefully from your monitor. During installation you will engage in conflict with the missing network driver for your machine (mine is Sony Vaio). Mr Google is there to help and assist you. Google it and you will find the answer. In less than an hour depending in your system, Kali will be up and running. Then, there you go. Its time to explore, play with and penetrate the system. If there are any questions please feel free to ping me and I am happy to assist you with the best of my knowledge. Goodluck. </span></p>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-88960915461422045102020-12-10T09:17:00.009+10:002020-12-10T15:38:10.059+10:00I am CompTIA Network+ and CIOS certified<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span face="Arial, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: black;"><br /><a href="https://www.youracclaim.com/earner/earned/badge/2b062348-3183-48b1-8efa-c3e2f692b065"></a></span></span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black;"></span><span face="Arial, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: medium;"></span></span><a href="https://www.youracclaim.com/badges/ff92267f-059c-49bb-980a-d35c7a904f20" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="340" data-original-width="340" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi17WfwMus7Pk6pDeQK9A-JADkWZEUxN32BGfO4Yj7nyTef_wgvORyUCai5exDPZMwwEgbbbgOrAsRj2NITuzY0zKKmFbghdRRvlxBJg03UnRtaKyogYremhaMAqSzJUKIUA9u4sAzOC7k/w200-h200/CompTIA_Network_2Bce.png" width="200" /></a></div><span face="Arial, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: black;"><a href="https://www.youracclaim.com/badges/21087e46-1723-4d1e-ac5b-55690cc37e67" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="340" data-original-width="340" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi691LcTynUwEcazy-WAvx3vq6XichpstY-hIvbcYN-lAPnixdVlUbRMfZxqKH1RV9qYPFcPlWxk4lLCDiLGOpBYBzg50FgQVeg9p8V-W3ysRQIvhJeoNBwhjvWwrdIstfA2y00nwvU33A/w200-h200/04294_CompTIA_Cert_Badges_Specialist_-_CIOS.png" width="200" /></a></span></span></span></div><span face="Arial, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="color: black;"><br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">After passing the </span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><span style="color: black;"><a href="https://www.youracclaim.com/badges/2b062348-3183-48b1-8efa-c3e2f692b065" target="_blank">CompTIA A+</a> exam last August 2020, I made up my mind to
continue to study, refresh and learn the concept of how the computer
networking works. C</span>omputer
network -
is a group of computers that
use a set of common communication protocols over digital
interconnections for the purpose of sharing resources located on or
provided by the network nodes.
As a computer engineering graduate with 5 years full time
experienced in IT and customer service, getting certified in CompTIA
Network is not an easy way to pass. You must have a dedication,
motivation and eagerness to learn to pass the exam. Everyday I spent
a minimum of 2 to 4 hours to study for four straight months. I
decided to take the exam until I am confident and brave enough. Until
one day, I am happy to pass and get certified as a Network and CIO
specialist. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span><br /></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span>Please click images above to verify my achievements.</span></span></div></span></span></span><p></p><p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: center;"><br /></p>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-24179715125035503112020-09-07T21:51:00.005+10:002020-11-19T11:13:57.818+10:00Clearing The Bios and Cleaning the CPU Fan of my Old Laptop<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aJOMx7ea71c" width="320" youtube-src-id="aJOMx7ea71c"></iframe></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Recently, I am disk partitioning my laptop from the disk management through the third party software EASEUS. I tried to move the files from one drive to another drive partition, the computer found errors and stopped working from the time I restarted the computer. What? Are you kidding me. I tried to figure it out to solve the issue. I made 2 attempts to solve the issue but failed until I decided to open the laptop. I found it so dusty especially the fan yet the issue was not about the dust inside. I reconnected every <a href="https://youtu.be/_wOfzbocw1Q" target="_blank">cable</a> as well including the hard drive, fan and the so-dimm memory. I found the <a href="https://youtu.be/aJOMx7ea71c" target="_blank">CMOS</a> battery, reset it and rebooted the system. When the system worked fine, I reassembled everything. Another problem appeared when I turned the Windows on. No internet, I accessed the command prompt, I pinged the address. I released and renewed the IP and flushed the DNS as well but nothing worked. I went back, then reinstalled and updated the network drivers but still no connection. I cleared the cache, deleted the browsing history and it worked. Now my laptop CPU fan is cleaned and worked perfectly. Also, I checked and disabled the updates for this Windows OS 3 years ago. My <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frFiFKIH5es&list=UUNSS38upbj4zWJsdIulrHqA&index=49">9 years old mate</a> still works fine until now. I am planning to assemble a rig (only if I have extra money) with virtualization and install a VLAN for penetration testing lab. Happy me!</div><p></p>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-44960481416970501872020-09-03T22:06:00.004+10:002020-09-03T22:09:38.304+10:00Inside Linux Ubuntu 20.04<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Zsw3gd4TfxY" width="320" youtube-src-id="Zsw3gd4TfxY"></iframe></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">This morning I decided to change the old operating system of my Sony Vaio Windows 7 into Linux Ubuntu. I have been a Windows user since windows 95 was born 25 years ago. Until now I still have my other old Windows 7 Home which I still used. I have no trouble with this system because I can fix it if there is an issue. Well, back to my latest Ubuntu. I love this distros because I can learn the new way on how to use the CLI (Command Line Interface). Also, it has a 3 years LTS (Long Time Support) and 5 years for Ubuntu Server. </div><p></p>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-62839470560928439802020-08-23T21:32:00.000+10:002020-08-23T21:32:28.725+10:00How To Remove Lock From A Folder<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/crtQRS-xXx0" width="320" youtube-src-id="crtQRS-xXx0"></iframe></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This is a windows 7 home premium operating system. We were stuck there for almost 3 months. We can't go back to Australia because all ports of exit were closed. There were travel banned the whole region. We were trapped and house arrested. Due to pandemic the whole world suffered from Covid-19 with so much devastation that cause millions of lives restless. Without further ado, I signed up to Cisco Networking Academy. I read, learnt and finished short four courses in NDG Linux Essentials, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Introduction to Internet of Things (IoT) and Packet Tracer. Also, I am almost halfway on my study in CCNA which is quite challenging. CCNA is awesome to learn about computer networking and security. I learnt the basic routing and switching configuration, TCP/IP, VLSM and subnetting. Furthermore, the previous months I decided to study<a href="https://www.youracclaim.com/badges/9e9da8cf-83b4-434d-9eb6-3bafac4ef9cf"> CompTIA A+</a> because I lost my job. Also, I want to change career path. Back to my early years, I was an IT support and computer technician in the Philippines for 5 years. I wasn't able to continue my career in IT because as a student visa in Australia, I am not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. Luckily, after a long years of patience, we are now citizens in Australia and can work full time without restriction. Anyway, the only way to refresh and update my skills is to study and take an examination in CompTIA. Fortunately, I passed the exam. To verify my certification, you can click <a href="https://www.youracclaim.com/badges/9e9da8cf-83b4-434d-9eb6-3bafac4ef9cf" target="_blank">VERIFIED</a>.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span> </span><br /></div><p></p>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-88076659951772207932020-08-19T18:15:00.001+10:002020-08-19T20:35:38.857+10:00Activation Of Product Key in Windows System<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QA4QeU7SOi8" width="320" youtube-src-id="QA4QeU7SOi8"></iframe></div><br /><p></p>intel828chttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08012349663764398848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8403270938521464545.post-16059231401214252162019-10-07T15:59:00.001+10:002019-10-07T17:15:04.322+10:00Bulldle<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Bulldle is a beautiful crossbred dog who had the pleading face of a bulldog and the body of a poodle. A science fiction crossbred dog made up thru digital enhancement imaging. (I am not sure if this kind of breed exists.) The story behind the bulldle when my co-worker Jaime and I talked and made fun about the crossbreeding of dogs. Jaime loves dog and he said if I have seen a breed of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oqy7wvq0oQ" target="_blank">Cavoodle</a>. Perhaps, I have seen it but not knowing of the name of it. Until one day, Jaime and I thought of or created something not real like the breed of dalmatian x chihuahua or dalmhuahua. Greyhound x chihuahua or greyhuahua and ended to naming the breed of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/intel828C" target="_blank">Bulldle</a>. I said will make one image for you and here it is. (Just for fun only, no animals were hurt in making of this image.) 😆</div>
